Retained – the side bricks sit on a ledge on the side plate and run up.
Simple – the side bricks sit directly behind the side plate and run from the base of the stove up.

4. If you have a CEVII then you will have simple side plates.
NB (In 2006, due to ‘CE’ Approval the grate bars were changed slightly. This resulted in the length of the High Bars being reduced and also the patten changed. Although the ‘New Bars’ will fit the old MK1 models they will NOT fit alongside the old bars and therefore a full set will be required.)
If you are unsure whether you have the New Bars or Old Bars please check the drawings to confirm measurements.
