Aspect 5 Shortlisted at the House Beautiful Awards

Aspect 5 Shortlisted at the House Beautiful Awards

On Thursday 16th November, Francisco and Hannah from the Hunter Stoves team swapped the fluorescent lights and computer screens of the Exeter office for the glitz and glamour of the House Beautiful Awards in London, celebrating the very best in homes and interiors.

As we excitedly announced back in September, our stunning Parkray Aspect 5 stove was shortlisted in the Best Heating category. Having only been released last year, the DEFRA approved Aspect 5 has fast become one of Hunters’ most popular stoves. Celebrated for its large viewing window, this model offers a mesmerising view of the flames that’s sure to make a striking focal point in any home. Plus, the controllability of the Aspect 5 makes this a firm favourite amongst retailers and end-users – it can change from a few glowing embers that gently take the chill off, to a roaring output of 7kW in just a few seconds. And it’s not just about looks with the Aspect 5, for it boasts an efficiency of 79% and emits only 0.17% CO. This means you can enjoy the beautiful flame picture on offer, without worrying about the environmental impact.

Although the Aspect 5 didn’t take the win that night, the whole Hunter Stoves team is proud and thankful for the recognition from House Beautiful. We are delighted to be able to say we made the Best Heating shortlist two years in a row!

We caught up with Francisco and Hannah for the lowdown on the awards ceremony, which took place at the prestigious Institute of Engineering and Technology on the River Thames …

After a warm greeting of prosecco and canapés in the glamorously-dressed Riverside Room, we took our seats for the ceremony. It was great to see all the excited winners taking to the stage to collect their awards and pose for that all-important triumphant photograph! We also enjoyed hearing all about Hearst Group’s very exciting plans for the future from Julia Goodwin, former House Beautiful Editor and now Director of Homes at Hearst. At the end of the night we each received a fabulous goodie bag containing some brilliant home and beauty treats.

Overall, we had a wonderful evening representing Hunter Stoves Group at the awards ceremony. It was an honour to be shortlisted, and to once again become part of a select group of brands that includes home and interior giants like Dunelm, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer.  Congratulations to all the winners!
